ToolsAdvancedSetting Command creates empty macro due to macro needs update.
Cause:
The macro needs to be updated to work with Word 7.0.
Solution:
Edit the Windows Registry using the RegOptions macro.
1) Edit the 'Macros7.dot' template in MSOffice\Winword\Macros folder.
a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Templates...'. (The Templates and Add-ins dialog box appears.)
b) Click 'Add...'.
c) Open the macros subfolder in Winword.
EXAMPLE: C:\Msoffice\Winword\Macros
d) Select the 'Macros7.dot' file.
e) Click 'OK'. (The Macros7 template is now added to the Global Templates and Add-ins box.)
f) Click 'OK'.
2) Run the macro.
a) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Macro...'.
b) Select 'Macros7.dot (Global Template)' file from the 'Macros Available in' list box.
c) In the 'Macro Name' list box, select 'RegOptions'.
d) Click 'Run'. (The Microsoft Word Registry Options dialog box appears.)
e) Click 'OK'.
